Dont use Acetone as a wax/grease/gunk remover before painting. Acetone evaporates to fast and does not allow you to wipe the
clean. Since your using Dupont paint, ask your paint supplier what Dupont Wax/Grease remover he recomends. The purpose of the special wax/grease remover is to clean the surface, yet NOT evaporate quickly, allowing you time to wipe the surface while wet. One other thing, WIPE, one pass, then turn the rag over or a new one. DONT go back over an area all ready wiped as you will/can just spread the contaminate your trying to get off.

I learned the above on the Autobodystore.com forum. A guy had problems with fisheyes and the guys traced the problem to using a fast evaporating cleaner and scrubbing the surface, not one pass wipping.
