A fluid leak where the rear drive shaft interfaces with the "pumpkin". Dripping oil onto the pavement. Spoke to a mechanic (by phone) who says the "pinion seal" is probably bad. Anyone here have other ideas? Plan to order a seal from VPF before taking the rig in for repair. Want to be sure I have the right items.
Have an exhaust leak around the most forward area of the exhaust manifold, as well as between the exhaust and intake manifolds at the spring area. Appears to be worn gaskets to me, but same mechanic says it is probably a warped manifold. What is the probability of this part warping? (230/6 cylinder). How obtainable or repairable if warped?
