Since the PTOs I have won't fit an NP420, I am abandoning my plans to put an NP420 in my WC project. I'm gonna stick with the non-synchro trans I already have and look for a Power Wagon PTO.
That SM420 PTO is available for sale or trade. It has two speeds high/low and forward/reverse. I have a drive shaft to go with it. Photos of that unit and a couple other PTOs I have are posted at http://imageevent.com/shaggy/toys4sale The PTO photos start at photo number 100.
