Here's my 2 cents.
I agree with Mark and Keith, regarding the adjustment of the pushrod. Given that yours just started acting up without you doing any brake work, might point to debris in the master cylinder blocking the relief hole. It's pretty small.
Back off the rod a bit and see if it improves things. If not, you might want to pull the master cylinder and go through it.
