Norm - you hit the nail on the head. I work for DCX Engineering in Detroit. Most consumers don't understand the marketing direction or cost built into a vehicle. The consumer wants heated seats and all the amenities available on the vehicle.We don't sell many strippers and package our vehicles to appeal to the masses. The other cost are from satisfying Government mandated safety and emission requirements.
