Normally I would make a joke about the USS Carter, not being equiped with a rudder, but I remember that President Ronald Reagan was always a gracious winner, and in fact his committment to rebuild our nation's forces, more than likely was the cause of the Carter being built, and true to Reagan's principles, he probably suggested it be named for Carter.
By the way, outfitting and sea trials are currently underway on the nation's newest aircraft carrier, the USS Ronald W. Reagan.
As I write this, people in the Peoples Republic of California, are lining the streets in the hippy commune of Santa Monica, laying flowers and placing American Flags on the lawn of the funeral home that holds President Reagans body. Even in death, he unites us again.
