Do you have a picture? Can you describe the way that the upper brackets mount? These mounts have two ~5/8" bolts that go through the side of the frame and one through the top. They are completely different than the ones on a 1967 WM300? Maybe someone added them to the '57 along the way. Thanks for the help Jonas.
