A few years ago I took a freind of my wife's, husband. He spent most of the day sleeping in the shade. We drove up together in a U HAUL towing my red '53 M37 brush truck that I was hoping to sell. On the ride home he tells me that he has a heart condition and the heat was killing him, literaly.
About a year later he died of heart complications. Anyway the portland show has a different meaning to me. I've been for several years before but not since. I know the wife very well, my wife stayed their the night before our wedding.
His wife wants to give me the 1946? jeep that he has been working on for years to complete. I willingly accepted the generous offer but have yet to see it or its condition. Either way I'll complete it.
Anyway I'll be going, hope to see many of you that day.
