If you go to a junk yard you can get a three speed starter and it will work. You will just have to change the housing that actually bolts up to the bellhousing. My starter was toast on my Power Wagon. Paid like 25 bucks for one out of a 1/2 two wheel drive and just had to change the cast housing. Works great.
