This is sometimes typical of a moron who did not want to do the job correctly. They were after the radiator and could not figure out how to take the assembly apart so they started ripping it. You need to remove the nose/cowl assembly from the truck with the radiator still intact. Then you remove the radiator. You might be able to repair yours with out too much problem.
