I had a Webber on my CJ5 when it had a 6 cylinder. The carb seemed to be a "hit and miss" ordeal. It would work great one day and then work poorly the next. Several members off our Jeep club had similar problems. As for the Holley, set the float level as low as you can go or run a fuel pressure regulator set to 1.5 p.s.i.
