Eric, to the best of my information, the Detroit assembly line was in WDX production a while before Los Angeles, but I have not found the Detroit number that was built the same day as LA 8875001.
Several different truck models were built on the same individual assembly line so it would be hard to say what the daily WDX production may have been.
I guess I'll have to get a build sheet to learn the production date - if that's listed - and use the date built to see what WDX is the oldest.
