So sorry to hear that Mac, our thoughts and prayers are with the family. My son Andy and his best friend Chris head the Nebraska chapter of H.E.A.R.T. (Helping Eachother, And Reassuring Teens) a teen suicide awareness program started by a couple in CO a few years ago who's high school son, again with his whole life before him, committed suicide. The idea is to talk to kids about suicide, but they also deal with greif counseling for parents. There's a network of folks out there that have truely been in her place. Make sure she sees someone trained to help her handle this, it'll consumer her and eat her up if she lets it.
