Glad you made it home safely! Muchas thanks for getting the W300 down to Texas for me.
This past weekends trip made me realize just how darn dangerous it can be on the road, especially while hauling a trailer/truck on it. On the way up, an 18
wheeler blew a tire, sending rubber all over the road, I had to brake quickly to avoid. On the way back, I watched a truck and trailer off the side of the road, apparent wreak.
Then some guy in a Starskey and Hutch Torino went past me, their rear tire blew, rubber going airborn, had to brake hard this time, and watched a sparking ford rim on asphalt. I breathed a big sigh (after I stopped laughing) when old Hutch pulled over to the shoulder. He was not laughing.
Gotta watch it out there!
