I have info I got from a contributor to this forum
that describes how to modify a distributor from
a late model slant six. Chrysler's breakerless
ignition is suberb and very simple in my opinion.
Some of the distributors had two pick-up coils
with different dwell; one for start and one for run.
They could be adjusted so they are both the same and
each could operate a seperate spark control unit and
ignition coil so you could have a multi-spark, and
best of all, a redundant ignition system.
