The following are only my opinions:

1) I made my own wiring harness - there are not enough wires in a Power Wagon to justify paying for a wiring harness. You can get the wiring diagram if you want to duplicate the colors. Wire guages vary according to how much current they need to carry.

2) You can convert to a solonoid started on which the switch is operated by an electric solonoid instead of your foot. You then operate the solonoid with a spring loaded key switch. You'll need a later "Bendix" style starter motor - remember that the flywheel starter ring teeth were different so you may have to drop the flywheel and replace the starter ring.

3) I think that the gas guage will probably fry at 12v.
