Forestry Service is a different goverment agency. The vehicles do have to be returned to them for auction (in Iowa anyways). These will be sold by the forestry or GSA. I don't beleive there is any way around it. Why don't they send it back and then you can bid on it. Unless you know the person running that part of Forestry Service that is in charge of getting rid of these I think there is no hope for a local buy.
