There is a steering wheel puller that looks like a big C-clamp which is designed to go underneath the steering wheel, and push it off. I bought one from Dave Cirillo, and now it is on permanent loan to the Power Wagon Plus museum and salvage yard. But Dennis assures me he is taking very good care of it. If you have a chance to buy one of these, do so. They work great, and you can probably get it for less than the cost of a replacement steering wheel.
