I didn't know there were so many nuts like me. We should all
share info on this. I am taking the hard way. I decided to use
all the old pedals and levers. I mounted the brake master cylinder and
booster under the cab below the seat. This was I have an NP435 so I mounted the
transfer case levers on it and am running separate controls.

Got Borgeson steering shafts and U joints. Put a pillow block on the
firewall and cut the old steering column to that length and connected
a U joint there.

There is very little room for the engine fan. Will have to go with an
electric and still will probably have 1/2" clearance.

I spent DAYS - no WEEKS - figuring the correct position for the cab. It
seems to be a lot higher relative to the frame than on the old frame but
it is hard to tell because of all the differences. The end result makes me think that
I could have done this faster. The shift lever comes out the
WM300 hole dead center and seems to be at about the right height too.

Note that I have 4.88 gears and I plan to use large tires (say 36-38") to
bring rpm down.

Lots more to say. One question. Where can I get some more time to work on this?
