After spending more time than I care to admit repairing my M37 fuel tank, painting it and lovingly installing it, I dumped 5 gals of gas into it and of course it still leaks. Ripped it out threw it into a field and ran over it repeatedly with my PW. I then went to the junkyard and found a new tank that measures 33"X 23"X 9" (same diminsions as the original except it is 2" deeper). Unfortunatly it was not in it's truck so I don't know what it came out of except that it was a ford truck. As soon as I get some time I will submit the part number to the Ford parts dept and find out what it came out of and let you know. The filler neck and vent are even within 2" of the same location.
