It is much easier to pull the motor with the tranny as a unit. Just remove the short driveshaft and pull the 2 bolts on the bellhousing motor mounts. Pop the floorboards and yank the shift lever and unbolt the tranfer case shifters from the side of the tranny. Unhook fuel, vacuum, choke, accelerator, starter, ground, and electric connections. When the radiator is out of the way pull the front motor mount bolts and hoist away!!!! This is the way to do it 'cause the rear motor mounts are on the bellhousing and support the tranny as well.
