Look at the frame over the left front wheel for the serial number (may require some scraping). Should match serial number on drivers door post. You can tell year built by that number (have to look it up though). WDX model ended in '47. Bed and dash styles changed with the the '51 model year. I have a '51 that was one of the first 100 or so built that year with the old style bed and dash arrangement. I suspect they used up the old model year parts before changing over, that or somebody swapped everything out on mine (I'm 4th owner). Good luck.
