Well, my new old Power Wagon is finally here. It's not in as good of a condition as I had hoped but better than I thought it would be. I feel I got a good deal anyway you look at it.
With the switches unmarked, it was a bit of a problem figuring out what was what but the person who put them in did it logically so there was little serious confusion. I did have to figure a temporary fuel delivery system. The previous owner used a separate tank than the one in the truck to keep from getting stale fuel from sitting. The electric pump wouldn't pick up a suction so I did the old Cheapskate Credit Card route and used a gas can and a rubber hose.
It wasn't off the trailer and the delivery truck wasn't gone 5 minutes and I had a fellow ask if it was for sale. I'm probably going to have to chain it to a tree for a few weeks until it gets to be known around town as my truck. After that, if it gets swiped, I'll hear about it really fast.
