You may get the unitnended consequence of running off some great contributors by focusing on a few rogue posters. Some of these folks just jump from forum to forum seeing if they can "stir it up". When everybody responds, we just play into his game. Best to ignore & they will go away.
I tend to think free & open access is really the only way to go.
