I have been using a 30 gal propane tank for air filled by my Mopar
V-2 compressor for years. I drilled, tapped and welded a fitting to the
bottom for a drain.

When I was living in the North Country of New York State (along the St. Law
River) the old-timers there told me "You'll never get the propane out of the
metal. It'll blow up when you least expect it."

The tank I am using now has been in service for 15 years. The old Mopar V-2
pumps to 160 psi driven by a 5 hp motor.

I can't wait for the comments.

Oh, and by the way, there's a guy down the road from me who swears that hot water
freezes faster than cold. I never showed him my compressor.
