But an adapter plate could be made to bolt to front of bell housing, then to engine block. You would need to use an engine that would have a srarter that bolts to the block, ala Chevy. You might have to put a spacer between flywheel and crank- the FH bellhouse actually encircles the flywheel, you would need lots of room between fw and block to fit bh and the spacer. Not insurmountable for a good lay-out man...
