Manny,

Sent you an e-mail with this info, but thought I'd share my research with everyone.

Based on cross references (not actual visual inspection for all distributors listed here):

IAD, IAO, IAP, IGC Distributors use Pertronix #1561 or #9-1561 for 12 Negative Ground systems. For 6V Positive Ground use #1561-6P

For IBR, IAY, and IAT I do not recommend Pertronix as the pear shape rotor requires squaring off the sides to work with The kit. Pertonix suggests the OEM Prestolite cap and T shape rotor, but the cap does not fit around either the vacuum advance chamber or the oil dipstick since the plug wires enter the cap from the sides rather than the top, leaving you with the alternative of modifying the pear shape rotor that goes with the cap that has the wires coming in from the top to make it work. That's what I'm doing on a 251 that I have. If you wish to do this, the Pertronix number is #1562 or #9-1562 for the 12v Negative Ground system.

George
