I think the advantage to duallies is if you are carrying a large or heavy load it makes it more stable. Also I would imagine you would gain quite a bit of flotation with the duals, great on the sand I guess, but not so good in the snow. More traction on the pavement if towing??? I dont really know, But I think they look good! (Not on the front!)
