As stated in the other posts, you'll need at least 30-45 CFM. That will cost thousands. If you plan on blasting many trucks, or only your own rig, there are two options, have it done for about $300 or rent a commercial blaster at a local construction equipment rental yard. The IR 185 is a good rig but the sand pots normally used with it are probably too much for a rookie to handle, you'll cut your truck in half! Go for a smaller pressurized pot blaster that uses a smaller 1 1/2 O.D. hose and holds about 60 lbs at a time. (ask to see what they have)It is more time consuming to refill the pot, but they are much easier to manuver.
