The Mistsu was in Dodge trucks in the 70's, the Chevy 6.2 Didnt come out untill '82. GM did start putting the Olds 5.7 Diesel in vehicles in 1978 tho. There were a few Chevy-GMC trucks that had the 5.7 in them..That was quite a flop as well.
if anything the Dodge-Mitsu Diesel trucks were probably competeing aganst the IHC Scout II from '76-80 with Nissian 6 cyl Diesel option Those went over fairl well for IHC.
