Remove your distributor, then handcrank your motor and align everything to TDC. Take note of the position your rotor is pointing. This will be the No.1 position. If everything is correct, then yes, your No.1 position will be at 7 o'clock. If your oil pump was installed 180 degrees off, then the No.1 plug will be at 2 o'clock. An easy fix in this case is to start at the 2 o'clock position and wire the truck accordingly using the same firing order(153624). The other alternative would be to remove your oil pump and reinstall it in the correct position, then wire the truck . In my case, I simply rewired the distributor. The truck doesn't know which plug is supposed to be the No.1. As long as the firing order is correct, it'll work out fine.
