Tough to put a price on it. The engine it has in it shouldn't cause any price increase. If the owner thinks its worth more with the V8, you could always tell him its not worth as much to you because you want to restore to original, and are going to swap out the engine. The offer him what you can afford.
Had I known at the time that my truck's engine wasn't original, I would have offered less than I did. But, I wasn't that knowledgable about M37's then, and I was bitten by the military bug, and wanted an M37.
