Just so you guys know, I found out when I did my tranny, t-case replacement. I discovered that there are two different length input shafts on the NP435 4-speed trannsmissions, one is 8 inches and one is 6 inches, if I remember correctly. Also the two cases have a different 3rd gear ratio. The transmission shop I went to was gracious enough to give me both transmisisons.
