I have had very good luck with the power lock 4 pinion limited slip used in Dana 60's. Not so with the 2 pinion trac lock. It does not seem to last or work as well either. I also have the cone style sure grip in the 8 3/4 rear and it works(used to anyway) pretty well. Not like being locked up but much better than an open differential. The only locker experience I have had is in a bigger truck and that was a detroit locker. It gave great traction but was rather disconcerting on the street. Around corners it would jerk pretty hard if you didn't slow way down and accelerate through the corner. I didn't have much trouble with it after I figured that out but I still don't think I would want it on something used mainly on the street. It always sounded like you broke something when it ratcheted by on a corner.
