Hi Norm,
In a post somewhere down below, you referred to proper clutch pedal adjustment. If I undersood you correctly, if the free play is insuficiant, the throwout bearing will let go with a loud whirrring noise. Mine does that and I have always assumed I had a defective throwout bearing. It does not always do it but enough to be annoying. Is the solution a matter of a bit more free play? (57 Power Wagon)
