Carb adapter availability????

Anyone heard of a adapter to put a 2bbl carb on a 230 or 251? I'm thinking like a 500cfm progressive Holley, or some type of Webber. I've run the dual carb setup and did'nt like it. I'm thinking the single 2bbl carb would be a better option.
