Hi Tyler,
The problem still sounds like the firing order is not right. If you have a good blue spark at the plugs and your getting gas to the carb, you have all the ingredients for a running engine. Not sure what you mean by a faulty rotor, it will only go on one way, it just has to be the correct one. Try this:
1. Loosen the #1 plug and rotate the engine until you hear air being pushed by the plug and stop at TDC.
2. Check the position of the rotor;
3. Double check to make sure the #1 plug wire is in the proper cap terminal in relation to the cap mounting and rotor position.
4. Crank the engine and note the direction the distributor is turning, then place the plug wires order accordingly - 1-5-3-6-2-4
