So you can remove head and valve- maybe remove manifolds to get access- then pound the guide down a ways, and break it with a hammer, then drive down further. You'll need the proper driver, it has a guide/step to keep it centered. Then drive new one in. Depth is critical on the exhausts, as the valves have a step in them that acts as a carbon breaker. Or, just run it with lots of blue smoke....
