Well, I know I am probably gonna generate alot of constroversy with this one, BUT I have seen an early Shortbox W-200. There is a guy who lives about 10 miles from me who has one! No kidding! When he first told me about it, I swore up and down it was a W-100, but when I went over to his house, It shue as day is a short box W-100. The truck has a 318 Poly, 4 speed, It has 900X16 NDT tires, and the Data Plate says its a W-200! The frame has NOT been cut or altered. It was a Airport service truck for MBS International Air port by Bay City Michigan. He has the origional utility box off it, and it measures almost 6 1/2 feet long. I dont have any photos of it, but the guy used to Post alot at Kris Wickstead's Sweptline Forumn. It is a very nice truck that is undergoing restoration. I later bought a 70 D-100 from him. I did not believe it was a W-200 either till he showed me the Data plate on it. So, I believe they are out there. From what I have seen Come out of the Dodge SEG Group, anything is possible on these older trucks!
