The kits are newer, but my vac pump is probably 30 years old, with a brass and steel body. Even the plastic ones can be used because the fluid does not touch the pump itself, only the tubing, if you have it set up properly, using a glass jar as the volumn chamber. They make kits to fit the lid of a Ball&Ball jar that separate the fluids from the vac/pressure side of the pump.
Eastwood also sales a pressure pod set-up that simply pushes new fluid into the system, no bleeding required.
