Two things related to corn fuel.
I took my chain saw in for repair and the guy asked what gas I was using. I use ARCO which is a blended ethanol fuel. He warned against it since the saw had an aluminum gas tank. It will tend to cause pits in the tank with time if fuel is left in it. In fact their newer saws have a plastic tank for that reason. I am not sure of the reason why this is a problem.
I have had some older trucks that did not like the ethanol fuel. Would not run well at all. Once I put non-ethanol fuel in it again it was fine.
