After I read the bestselling book a few years ago "Into Thin Air", I concluded that I would not want to make the hike even if given the opportunity. It sounded painful physically to those who made it, and extremely dangerous to boot. Whoever succeeds is courageous and a little lucky, judging by the book. Talk about a lean carb setting for a PW!
