Do like Todd said, and use a ridge rafter, that will be between your 2 angled cuts on the top. it will run the entire length of the ridge. is that a kit you are using? maybe they don't want you to use a ridge rafter but I don't know why they wouldn't. You will need to assemble the far ends on the roof then set your ridge rafter in the top, then build your others to the ridge rafter you put in. this will help hold everything up until you plywood the roof. sorry I am no carpenter, just a dumb electrician, so excuse the wrong terminology. I think if you lay the parts on the floor and make all the distances the same with a tape measure (Left and right) and mark it with a pencil you should do fine. and the left and right will be the same, you will need to make them an 1 & 1/2 inch smaller at the top to allow for the ridge rafter.
