Trailer question

I have been looking at trailers recently. I have found one really nice 12,000 trailer with a max load of 8,000lbs that ought to tell you how well (over built) it was.

What I have questions about are the tilt trailers that I am seeing. The fron 2 to 3 feet of these trailers is fixed and the back portion tilts with ram/shock absorber type cylinder. If you unlatch the tilt bed it will automatically tilt. If you get on it and walt to the front of the tilt section it will go into the travel/flat position. Looking at them in terms of leading a truck it seems that the front wheels will start the bed tipping before the back wheels are even close to the trailer bed.

Does anyone have experience with this type of trailer loading PW or large trucks on them. Additionally, I would like a winch on my truck for loading dead trucks. Obviously the winch will have to be on the tilt bed. Anyone have experience with winching onto a trailer like this??
