I took Bear from Southern California up to Holister and back again for the first PW meet there. I can tell you it was quite a drive. The part that worried me was getting hundreds of miles from home. Every unfamiliar rattle or vibration sent me into a fit of worry about what I would do if Bear broke down in the middle of nowhere. I knew no one with a trailer, some of the parts might take weeks to find, etc. To tell you the truth, I was very relived to get near home again. The other thing that bothered me was the constant stream of cars passing me at high rates of speed. I decided that if Bear is going that far again, it will be on a trailer.
