Sorry to see this truck on the market. It is a very well done truck. I saw it prior to restoration and after it was restored. It was a solid truck to begin with. Not a rust bucket that was pieced back together. Who ever buys this truck will be well pleased.

As to the price. It is most likely worth every penny of that. It takes time and money to put a truck together. I know I have done it. For an example. I have $2,000 in paint supplies alone in my Carryall and that was 5+ years ago. Now think of the 100+ hours of sanding and surface preparation that was done after the body work was completed. At $50 per hour (Go and try and find someone to do it at that price) that is $5,000 + the $2000 that is $7,000 just for the paint job if I had someone do it. Now add parts and labor for the mechanical and body resoration. It is not a low budget undertaking to rebuild a truck from the ground up. Not to mention the $750 for all new guts for the transmission (I got a great deal)

Steven Fowler said it correctly, to do a truck correctly is quite different than what most people call a restoration. The price will reflect that difference. However, you will never get out of a truck what you put into it. It is a labor of love and dedication. I appreciate all the work I have done on my Carryall when I am cruising down the road at 70mph and have no worries at all (it does have 4.89 and a V8. No wandering no rattles of something falling off but it is loud and ear protection is required.
