The problem with most of the rebutals to my fine arguments, is the unthinking, knee jerk, extremely ignorant responses to them. Where in my statement do I say that I like dirty water and air? Jim Watt was a westerner who understood balance. He served in one of the first administrations to work under the Environmental Protection Act, an agency that was proposed and placed into being by a Republican. You can look it up. The National Park Service and Forest Service were also put into being by a Republican, you can look it up. No matter how screwed up these three beauracracies have become because of democratic party manuvering, they do serve a purpose.
My comments were directed more towards the illegal taking of private and public lands, storm water run-off regulations and road closures. Closures that have impacted more than a few on this Forum (eh John!) The attempt to scrap our vehicles through "Clunker Laws" and other regulations that harm our hobby.
FYI: I am a life member of the Sierra Club, just note that I was a member before it was taken over by the leftist anti-industrial-age socalist that run the club now.
As for Socialist Security, I'd love to opt out, but the bill hasn't been able to move through congress yet. As for receiving checks, as a business owner, I have PAID more into that system than any employee probably made in their entire lifetime. As for your post, I wouldn't leave my real name either, after an ignorant post like that. Peace dude!
