Thats how they build roadster frames. Very rigid. But is rigidity wanted in an off road truck? The riveted contruction allows some creep of components, letting the frame flex and keeping all 4 wheels on the ground so as to negate the need for posi axles. Ever see a 'rock crawler jeep' in action? And any attempt at rigidity only leads to fatigue problems- did you notice your frame is multi-layers in the middle section? sorta like leaf-springs? notice that most FF truck frames have lasted 40-60 years?
