I'm trying to identify my distributor to order a Pertronix module. Can't find any markings on it though. I understand there are really only two types as it pertains to the ignition module. One with a large cap,large rotor, and large locating tab (approx. 1" tab) on the cap. The other with a slightly smaller cap, much smaller rotor, and small locating tab (appox. 1/4' tab). Does anyone know the code types (like IAY, IAO) for each of these? I have the smaller type with vauum advance on a 251. Even if you don't know wht mine is, if you know that you have the larger or smaller cap/rotor and what type your's is, that would help since I can use that info through process of elimination to find mine. Thanks in advance for any help on this!
