I had this problem on my Blue 46 WDX.
I used 3M black Weather strip Adhesive & that was the last of that problem.
You need to apply it to both the channel & the rubber very sparingly. Then you need to be careful getting the rubber in the channel because once it's stuck...it's not coming off!
I think often the frames have rusted enough that the rubber just won't stay in place by itself.
My gasket was from VPW.
